Justin Fazio’s New Bauer 2S Set

Justin Fazio, longtime goaltender for the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League, is well known for his gear prowess.

He recently debuted a new Bauer 2S set and it’s everything we could’ve hoped for (and more!).

If you’re a fan of goaltending and you’re not excited about what Bauer is up to with their digital printing capabilities, you may not be a fan at all.

Design elements of the set 

A couple unique things are going on with this set. First off, it models the standard color ways of the stock Bauer 2S graphic. However, the twist is inside the yellow, with honeycombs built into the pad design.

On top of this, the set was designed to match his current helmet (pictured below) which moves from dark to light.

During the 2017/2018 OHL season, we’ve already noticed Fazio wearing three different sets. Our second favorite is pictured below.

Fazio has been creating custom designs (using padwrap) on his Bauer pads since well before Bauer offered this printing capability.
